...And - Yes - Kendall makes her track debut this year

Kendall is following in the spikes of her big brother, Will. She got her feet wet this year and participated in her first meet.

She had a great time so stay tuned for next year when she officially becomes a part of the team.

Happy Easter

This year we spent Easter in Tennessee. The Easter Bunny made an early stop as we got up for church. After Easter service we went out for lunch, and then we invited some family over for an egg hunt.

Finally a Warm Day!

There has finally been a break in the weather and the kids have gotten to enjoy the backyard again. And - no - I'm not sure Christian decided to wear his helmet.

Christian and Evan ventured out to play and then they were off to a picnic lunch in the park.

Congratulations Will

After placing 1st in our local Jack and Jill chapter oratorical contest, Will placed 2nd in the state competition.

Mitchell Holiday Traditions

Christmas Eve is one day the family indulges Mom and agrees to an evening of activities that we do each year.

We all get dressed in our Christmas PJ's and read a Christmas story...

We bake cookies (we did gingerbread people this year) ...

Then we all pile in the van with blankets, pillows, and hot chocolate to go look at Christmas lights.

And of course we can't forget Santa's cookie and the reindeer food.
