Our Family

Well - here we all are - as blessed as ever. 2007 has been a great year. As a family we took a trip to DisneyWorld that was fantastic!! We also witnessed the baptism of Kendall, Christian and Evan. We have spent many birthdays, holidays, and special occasion together with our friends and extended family. Thanks to all that have given their support and assistance by being a positive influence on our family.

Bre'Anca Mitchell

Bre'Anca has blossomed into a beautiful young lady. Bre'Anca celebrated her Sweet Sixteen this year with a party to remember!! Bre'Anca was excited to have her braces removed this year. Bre'Anca is now a sophomore in high school where she participates in ROTC. Watch out on the streets of Atlanta because she now has her driving permit. :)

William "Will" Breaux

Will has had many great accomplishments this year including entering middle school, making honor roll, earning a spot on the middle school junior varsity soccer team, and being in the middle school band.

Will is now learning how to play the piano and he is also mastering the clarinet. Will is quite the athlete and is a great role-model for the younger children.

Christian Mitchell

Christian is our lover of cars, trains, and anything that has wheels. Christian has been showing everyone he's learning his ABC's and 123's. Christian has made great progress in becoming a "big boy". He has made it into a big boy bed and he's now using the big boy potty (sorry to embarrass you Christian but I spared the picture) !!

Kendall Mitchell

Kendall is our little princess. Kendall started Kindergarten this year and loves every minute of it. She started dance this year and has already become quite the dancer. On the soccer field this fall she showed her athletic abilities by scoring 9 goals in one game. She lost her first tooth on Christmas Eve so Santa and the Tooth Fairy came to visit on the same night.

Evan Mitchell

2007 was a year of many firsts for Evan. We witnessed his first tooth, his first steps, his first word - "ma-ma" (sorry Daddy)and his first birthday. Evan is full of personality and he lets it show. He has a love of song and dance. Evan's favorite toy is whatever Christian happens to be playing with at the moment.

Shelby and Lori

We have been very busy in both our family and professional lives. Although things get quite busy around the house, we wouldn't change a thing. Every blue moon we actually find someone to watch all the kids, get dressed up, go out and have our own time. This is from the Meharry Presidental Inaugural Gala - we actually clean up pretty well!

We have taken great effort to teach our children to be thankful for the
things with which they have been blessed. Our family has been blessed by
so many wonderful and caring people. This year we were saddened by those that we have lost . We give honor to the memories of Mrs. Minerva "Granny" Bright
and Aunt Alberta Williams. Rest in peace and may God continue to bless all of
us.
